About Nathan Freeman
Nathan Freeman, PA-C is a founding member of our Men's Health and Wellness team. Nathan is a Florida Parishes native who sees patients in our office located at 1665 Dove Park Road in Mandeville. He is a board certified diplomate of the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and a member of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
Nathan attended Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond. He is a graduate of the Louisiana School for Math, Science and Arts and Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. After completing his physician assistant training at Louisiana State University School of Allied Health, he ranked among the top five percent of physician assistants nationally on the NCCPA certifying examination.
Nathan began his medical career in Texas, gaining experience working with patients in a rural primary care clinic setting. Returning home to Covington, Louisiana, Nathan accumulated extensive experience practicing side-by-side with physicians specializing in family medicine, cardiology, emergency medicine and urology. Nathan has worked with physicians at most of our Northshore regional hospitals including North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, Lakeview Regional Hospital and St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington, Our Lady of Angels Hospital in Bogalusa, and the Louisiana Heart Hospital in Lacombe.
Along the way, Nathan has participated in numerous clinical research trials investigating treatments for coronary artery disease (CAD), angina, myocardial infarction, atrial fibrillation, cardiac disrrhythmia, heart failure (CHF), stroke, deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE). He has also served in a teaching capacity as an industry sponsored speaker, educating fellow healthcare providers about new treatments for migraine headache, depression, prostate enlargement (BPH) and sexual health.
Those who know Nathan best understand that more than any professional achievement, he is gratified by hundreds of patient lives he has touched in nearly twenty years of clinical service. Nathan is a patient favorite because of his attentive care, listening ability and diligent attention to detail. He provides proficient care for our patients with routine medical needs. Yet for more involved medical problems, he's very willing to devote the extra time needed to assure that his patients receive the necessary medical attention and very best care that anyone has to offer. Dr. Stephen Watson
As one of the Northshore’s longest serving urologists, Dr. Stephen Watson has extensive experience with the medical and surgical healing arts involving his chosen specialty of urology. He introduced advanced reconstructive surgical procedures to the Northshore area years ago and prides himself in helping patients understand and eliminate urology problems. Dr. Watson has been certified and re-certified by the American Board of Urology as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and welcomes new patients.
Dr. Hal Neitzschman
Dr. Hal Neitzschman has served thousands of Northshore Urology patients in over 20 years of dedicated service. He is a highly qualified and very experienced urologic surgeon, certified by the American Board of Urology as well as the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. He maintains six hospital affiliations, serving in leadership roles and providing top-of-class surgical and medical care to our patients across the Northshore today.
